Irene Berman-Levine (better known as “Dr. Irene”) is a Nutrition Consultant at Nutrition Program Planning in Harrisburg, PA. She is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in Nutrition at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. She loves to teach and has also taught at Boston University, Simmons College, Penn State, University of Maryland and Messiah College. She is a frequent speaker at professional meetings and serves on the board of the South Central Pennsylvania Food Bank.

Irene completed her undergraduate work at Drexel University and her nutrition
internship at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
She earned her Master of Science Degree in Nutrition Education at Boston
University and her Ph.D. in Community Nutrition at the University of Maryland.
is married to Sam and has 2 children, Rachel and Isaac.
In her spare time she is an internet addict, collects antique toys, and
is a licensed auctioneer.
Karen Espenshade is President and CEO of Compliance Link, a medical practice consulting company. She has served the health care community for over 30 years, working in both the private and government sector. Ms. Espenshade is an honor graduate from both Harrisburg Hospital School of Nursing and Saint Joseph’s College where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in business management. She attained the rank of Captain in the United States Air Force while serving six years on active duty.
Ms. Espenshade’s experience is extensive in all areas of clinical nursing, practice management, and consulting service. Ms. Espenshade serves on the Board of Directors for the Capital Region of the American Heart Association, is a member of the Medical Group Management Association and National Association of Healthcare Consultants.
She is married to Ron and has three daughters, Tonya, Hilary and Cortney, one son, Troy, and two granddaughters, Madison and Morgan. She is an enthusiastic antique collector and interior design hobbyist.
